Waiting...

The tests are scheduled for January 24th. It seems that David will be in Chicago for work...UGH!

Maybe I can get my mother-in-law to go with me :).

Please pray!

Hi Cammie! First, let me say thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving your kind thoughts!
I am always happy to meet new people.

Next, I have to tell you that I have "Jesus bumps" right now...(that is what we call chill bumps that come from the Lord)...because, I have absolutely NO doubt, that GOD crossed our paths...now let me tell you why....

As I read your post about your daughter's nosebleeds.....it sounded so familiar...our dearest friends have a son that has ITP and was diagnosed at 1 year old. He had chicken pox at 11 months old and the doctors believe that virus weakened his immune system, consequently, causing the ITP.

He is now 11 (soon to be 12 in March). I have walked this journey with her and have done extensive research on this illness. Although his ITP is labeled "Chronic" he is one, healthy, active, perfect little boy and this illness, in no way, has affected him physically or mentally. He does have to be careful in contact sports or activites because of his enlarged spleen.

On a positive note, most ITP cases resolve themselves within a year. I pray that will be your little girls situation.

We have rejoiced with them when platelets were up and cried when not so good reports came in, but God is faithful and HE has been right beside our friends the entire way.

I want you to know that I commit right now, to lift your little precious girl in prayer every singe time the Lord brings her to my mind and I will faithfully ask for healing for her. I also want you to know that I would be happy to help you in any way I can with the ITP situation....I would be happy to share more of his illness story with you... my email contact is on my blog under "Contact me" and I realize we do not live close in proximity, but in Christ we are sisters. And I am a prayer warrior. And I will be one for your family and for your little girl!
Friends in the Lord are precious and I am thankful He sent you my way!

Sweet blessings to You!
Denise
