Wow! What a fast couple of days!
We received and email on Wednesday of last week that Travel Approvals had been received...in only 2 1/2 weeks (this usually takes 3-6 weeks)! GWCA stated that they were then sending off for our American Consulate appointments. They stated that they would request the 26th for those appointments, so to be ready to travel on the 14th...OF DECEMBER!!! The confirmation of these appointments would come in 3-5 business days. We received these confirmations on Monday, December 4th...and our Consulate appointments are set for the 28th. HOLY COW! We are leaving for China on December 15th!!!
Here is our Itenerary:
12/15 San Antonio/San Francisco UA6379 Lv. 745A, Ar. 938A
12/15 San Francisco/Beijing UA889 Lv. 1113A, Ar. 335P on 12/16
12/30 Hong Kong/Chicago UA896 Lv. 1135A, Ar. 1143A
12/30 Chicago/San Antonio UA493 Lv. 245P, Ar. 547P
We are on the fast track now...from what we know so far, we will have our daughter in our arms on December 20...her 9 month birthday!
Anyone who can and wants to meet us at the airport when we come home would be welcomed! We would love for you to meet our Kaylee...then we will go into hiding for awhile while we recoup and bond!
Please pray for travel mercies. Please continue to check this blog...while travelling and after for updates on our family!
PS, I can't forget to mention the King Family...they have been home for 2 1/2 weeks now and they are doing very well!
