A Busy Day

Yesterday, we took a little time out to do some fun holiday things.

We first had to go to the doctor to have Kaylee's platelets checked. She read 161,000!!! Holy cow...that's unheard of! This is Kaylee's 3rd GREAT reading in a row! Could we be out-growing this?

Then, we headed to the mall.

I found Kaylee's Christmas dress. So cute! Look for pictures in another post.

Then, we saw Santa!

She was so precious and so excited! She told Santa that she wanted 'dress-up' and 'toys'.

Jake was great posing with Santa and trying to translate what his sister said.

After that, we went to Build-a-Bear. Now, I am not usually one to do this. I think they are overpriced. I recently saw a commercial where they have $10 bears. I told the kids they could choose a $10 choice without clothes. They thought that was a great idea. It really was cute watching Kaylee make her first 'bear'.
